Good evening all, Tonight’s matches complete our winter 2017 season.
Thank you to all players and teams, has been a great season, with some good battles along the way.

With regard to fixtures tonight. Winners and runners up both already confirmed for both leagues.

Congratulations to Ashford club A, and Albion D both champions and Poke and Hope And Bonny cravat both runners up.
At the base of division of 1, sees the pic of the games tonight as woolpack B v Singleton Barn A, to Confirm who will finish 2nd to bottom.

As for all teams, and players player of season and masters still to be confirmed. So all frames count. Wish you all the best of luck, all details will follow ASAP. If any teams are moving venues or want to discuss any possibilities please contact me. In the meantime we hope you all have a smashing Christmas and wish you all a happy new year! And look forward to welcoming you all again for a new season in 2018.

Congratulations to Scott Hanson, whom has had a excellent season,

Prem Division winner,
in pole position to take P.O.S
Most dishes this season %18.8, extraordinary nearly a conversion rate of 1-5

As previously mentioned Scott represented Ashford for Champions of Champions,, which He did tremendously well just to reach the finals day held in Chatham last Saturday,

After overcoming a slow start in his semi final, Scott was triumphant rallying back from 0-3 he commanded wining 10-3 and booked his place in the FINAL.
Awaiting the other semi final to conclude, The final saw SCOTT v Medway A, Kent A and Northern Ireland international Jamie Kitchen. eventually losing 10-3. WELL Done Scott, is a massive achievement, should be very proud of yourself.

CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS

Good Luck To Our very OWN SCOTT HANSON, whom represents Ashford pool league, Scott qualified recently winning many games along the qualifying process, this coming Saturday Scott will travel to Chatham to take his position in the semi final, followed hopefully by the final. with 20% dish rate, and a fantastic season we all wish you the very best of luck. WELL DONE SCOTT, fantastic achievement already!
Description

This is definitely one of the hardest events any team or player can aspire to win. In order to enter you must first be your local league current champion(s) in one of three disciplines (Team, Individual, Ladies Individual). As if that wasn't hard enough you must then take on other local league players who have achieved the same feat in their local league.
In this competition the playing standards are high from the word go. The only thing you can be sure of is that it will get tougher and tougher the further you progress. It is only open to leagues affiliated to the English Pool Association, if your league is not affiliated contact the EPA secretary for details of affiliation.

As YOUR WINTER 2017 SEASON, comes to a close,

I'd like to Take this opportunity TO THANK Kenny Sharpe for his dedication and keeping the league running for many years!
simply without his effort this league would not be in the position that we see today, I believe this is a strong position, and I hope to continue from Kenny work and continue to develop OUR league positively and improve the strength of Ashford Pool league. Great to have all your experience passed on Kenny, Will try my best to keep up your good work, and great to see you on the tables from a different angle.

The committee are all united, and strong moving forward. Any suggestions, or views in how to improve are always welcomed, please put forward to committee prior to AGM which will take place in closed season. details to follow including JOHN MORRISON MASTERS ASAP.
